Week 2

Anna W cross-stitch
On Wednesday our class, Room 13, learnt how to make cross-stitch. First we poked holes in pieces of card/paper stuff with a plastic needles that were always snapping and bending. Then we put pieces of thread through the eye of the needle and started to thrust the fibre through the holes and wove the string into crosses. This is an example of of someone's cross stitch:

Riley cross stitch
On Wednesday we did cross stitching.we did some Cross stitching is a type of stitching and is really fun to do. First Mrs Haddock gave us a sheet of paper and we had to puncture holes with the plastic needle where the lines meet.
Then we started to make line and went back over them so we ended up with a line of x’s.  We failed the first couple minutes but once we did it more, the easier it got.  In the end some of us had not finished but some of us finished.  Here are two examples of cross stitch download.jpgcross-stitch-on-plain-weave-fabric-02.jpg
